ABOUT MIchele
Michele L. Bartlett was a middle school science teacher at Rundlett Middle School for 29 years, originally born in Burlington Vermont. She coached track and field, nordic skiing, and cross country at the middle school and highschool levels. She was a woman of great compassion for her students and stood firm on her ideals that hard work and perseverance could overcome many obstacles in life. She had a grand scope of interests the least of which included sports, cooking, nature, and life long education. The hallmark of this great woman was to live her life with passion and make the world a better place. Ultimately the autoimmune disease Scleroderma took her life in the summer of 2020. She embodied the champion mindset. Michele showed perseverance all the way to her death by never giving up hope that she could survive and beat the disease.
